New Year's Eve Party!

Since New Year's Eve was on Sunday, we just did a regular Sunday Dinner (except it was all junk food!) and invited everyone to stay until midnight!

I didn't get pictures but we especially enjoyed watching the fireworks from the front porch. And it was even more special because we had a newly arrived refugee family with us! (From Burundi)

The favorite games were Sequence and Monopoly, although Uno made an appearance, too!

As we were driving around, one of the girls pointed out the bears around the Black Bear Diner and I realized we had not taken them there yet!

These four ladies were a godsend yesterday evening - a bit of packing, loading a day's worth of packing into the truck, then unloading it...

Then we had the delight of taking them to their first American restaurant - Red Lobster!
