I loved hearing people's life stories today!

We are so thankful to have some new volunteers helping us reach out to international students. And I had the privilege of hearing their life stories today, one this morning at breakfast and two this evening at dinner (with DL!, too).

Hot Chocolate on a Snowy Day!

We had a terrific Snow Storm today! 8" drifts on the deck.

I posted on Facebook for people to come over for a nice cup of hot chocolate if they were cold...

These two took me up on my offer and we had a lovely time visiting!

Easter '16

Easter was fun.  Natalie and Andrew brought Leah and Elijah. (nice having them in San Jose! Only 5 hours away!)

Cowboy Ranch Spring Break Trip

Cowboy ranch trip - we took four students to a ranch where friends of ours live on March 22-24 as a Spring Break trip. We had YX, QM, JJ from China, and YS from Japan.

St. Patrick's Day Tea!

A housemate from China asked to have tea with our friend from England. What a perfect place to enjoy St. Patrick's Day with tea and scones!

A Sweet Breakfast

I enjoyed a lovely time with one of the House Girls this morning. I really like getting to spend time with each lady on her own.

It was so nice to hear about her hopes and plans for the future :-)

(She's even learned to enjoy butter while she's been here!)
