Sunday Dinner Without Us!

Thanks to all the volunteers who made Sunday Dinner happen last night without us, (as we are sick...)!

You are all wonderful blessings in our lives...

Snow! And a Snowman!

David noticed this picture of the snow taken by a Japanese girl who lives close to us...

Next thing I know, David is opening the door 

And posting this:

I thought he looked a little cold... 

And I figured he needed "eyes in the back of his head" to see who was coming out the door! 

(Don't scoff - my mom had them!)

Thanksgiving 2016

Just us at home this year...
Lasted all Fall until Tuesday without getting sick... :-}

David made a lovely turkey, great stuffing, gravy with giblets and the requisite sweet potato.

Before the day was over several students visited us with some specialties:
PA with Indian lentils and rice
SH brought a Moroccan vegetable dish and butternut squash soup in a pumpkin bowl!
MT from Japan presented us with Tiramisu!

Our deep gratitude to Faith Bible Church for hosting the International Student Thanksgiving Banquet! We were blessed with lots of food and meeting lots of people!
