Too Long....

I usually try to send out a verse every day (more or less...) It's been a very long time but one of my devotion verses really touched my heart today and I wanted to share it. But I also wanted to explain why it was special to me...

So...  I thought maybe I would share it here, too.

Wow, it's been a long time since I sent out verses... The 15 day trip was hard on me, and new people began arriving right away. Then I caught that cold/fever last Saturday...  It's still hanging on of course... We had over 80 at Sunday dinner, but, of course, I wasn't up there and no one got all the names, so we're just guessing... But this verse was in my devotions today and I really want to share it with you... When I get sick I tend to just do the next thing... No joy, no gladness, just sober "Have to do this. This must be done. Can't put that off anymore." I had slipped into this and here God is reminding me that there's So Much to be thankful for - the gift of eternal life, and here and now I can ask Him for help with all that I'm not getting done...

It was just such a blessing to me!

Psalm 100.1-5
