Every year, especially at this time, we face this... Students who have been here for a semester (or a year, or sometimes several years), who have become dear to us, return home, or move on to new studies or a new job.
We treasure Sung Taek's words, from South Korea, here from August of '13 until just last month:
It has been such a blessing to get to know you and David! I am so thankful what you've done for me and all of other international students. I will continuously pray for both of you that God provides and protect you.
You guys are living inspiring!! Thank you.
Hope to see you when I come back!
Have a nice day!"
Sung Taek talked about what we've done for him, but pray for us as we miss him, and all he did to help us and to minister to other international students here.
And pray that students will be cared for as they return. Pray they will connect into churches and new friendships with believers. Pray that our friendships will continue, as well.
